Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Guwahati to Shillong (2 Nights)

Welcome to Guwahati. Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative and proceed to Shillong, popularly known as the ‘Scotland of the East’. En route, stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake, surrounded by scenic hills and lush greenery.

Upon arrival in Shillong, check in to your hotel and relax for the evening.

Day 2 – Cherrapunjee Excursion

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on Earth known for its stunning landscapes and waterfalls.

Visit Arwah Cave, Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls, Dainthlen Waterfalls, Eco Park, Garden of Caves, and Thangkharang Park. Enjoy breathtaking views of the valleys and plains of Bangladesh.

While returning to Shillong, visit the famous Elephant Falls.

Day 3 – Shillong to Tezpur (1 Night)

Today proceed to Tezpur, a charming town located on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra River. Known for its scenic beauty and peaceful surroundings, Tezpur offers a refreshing atmosphere.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 4 – Tezpur to Dirang (1 Night)

After breakfast, continue your journey to Dirang, a beautiful hill town nestled in the Eastern Himalayas. Dirang is known for its traditional Monpa villages, peaceful monasteries, and scenic mountain views.

Check in to your hotel and relax amidst the serene surroundings.

Day 5 – Dirang to Tawang (2 Nights)

Today drive towards Tawang through the breathtaking Sela Pass situated at an altitude of over 14,000 feet. En route, visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial dedicated to the brave soldier Jaswant Singh Rawat.

Arrive in Tawang and check in to your hotel. Surrounded by mountains and valleys, Tawang offers spectacular Himalayan views and spiritual charm.

Day 6 – Tawang Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit the famous Tawang Monastery, one of the largest Buddhist monasteries in the world and an important spiritual center in Arunachal Pradesh.

Later visit the Tawang War Memorial, built in memory of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the 1962 Indo-China war.

Evening free for leisure and local exploration.

Day 7 – Tawang to Bomdila (1 Night)

Today proceed to Bomdila, a beautiful hill station known for its monasteries, apple orchards, and panoramic Himalayan views.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 8 – Bomdila to Guwahati (1 Night)

After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati, the gateway to Northeast India. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel.

Evening free for relaxation or optional local exploration.

Day 9 – Guwahati Sightseeing & Departure

After breakfast, visit the famous Kamakhya Temple situated atop Nilachal Hill. Later visit Navagraha Temple and Umananda Temple located on Peacock Island in the Brahmaputra River.

Later transfer to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
