Day 01 | Arrival in Hanoi

Hanoi (2 Nights)

Welcome to Vietnam — a captivating destination rich in culture, history, and timeless beauty.

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, proceed to your hotel via your arranged transfer service and complete your check-in formalities.

Vietnam’s charming capital, Hanoi, is known as the “River-bound City” and boasts over a thousand years of history dating back to 1010. The city enchants visitors with its blend of ancient temples, colonial-era architecture, tree-lined boulevards, vibrant street life, and serene lakes.

The remainder of the day is free for leisure and relaxation.

Day 02 | Hanoi City Tour

After breakfast, embark on a full-day exploration of Hanoi’s rich cultural and historical heritage.

Begin with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, dedicated to the founding father of modern Vietnam. Explore key landmarks within the complex including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the colonial-style Presidential Palace, and the iconic One Pillar Pagoda.

Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university established in 1070 and dedicated to Confucius and esteemed Vietnamese scholars.

Later in the afternoon, visit the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake, also known as the “Returned Sword Lake,” steeped in local legend and cultural significance.

Cross the famous red-painted wooden bridge to Ngoc Son Temple, beautifully situated on a small island in the lake.

Conclude the day by exploring Hanoi’s vibrant Old Quarter, renowned for its narrow streets, traditional trade guilds, bustling local markets, and charming cafés. Enjoy a traditional cyclo ride or relax with a cup of authentic Vietnamese coffee.

Day 03 | Hanoi to Ha Long Bay Cruise Experience

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After breakfast, depart Hanoi and enjoy a scenic drive through the Vietnamese countryside toward the world-famous Ha Long Bay.

Upon arrival at the jetty in Ha Long City, complete cruise check-in formalities and board your overnight cruise vessel.

Savor a delicious onboard lunch while cruising through the mesmerizing limestone karsts and emerald waters of Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its extraordinary natural beauty.

During the afternoon, participate in onboard activities and sightseeing excursions depending on your cruise itinerary, or simply relax and admire the breathtaking surroundings from the deck.

As evening falls, the cruise anchors amidst the dramatic limestone formations, creating a truly magical atmosphere.

Enjoy dinner onboard while surrounded by the serene beauty of the bay.

Day 04 | Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City

Meals Included: Breakfast & Lunch

Wake up to the peaceful beauty of Ha Long Bay and enjoy breakfast onboard as the cruise sails gently through the bay’s magnificent rock formations.

Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi.

Upon arrival, proceed to the airport for your onward flight to Ho Chi Minh City (flight not included).

Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon, and transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Vietnam’s largest and most cosmopolitan city is a vibrant blend of historical charm, colonial architecture, modern skyscrapers, bustling markets, and energetic nightlife.

The evening is free for leisure.

As Ha Long Bay cruises generally disembark between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm and airport transfers may take 3–4 hours, evening flights departing after 6:00 pm are strongly recommended.

Day 05 | Cu Chi Tunnels & Ho Chi Minh City Tour

After breakfast, proceed for a fascinating excursion to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, located approximately 75 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City.

This remarkable underground tunnel network served as a strategic military base for the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War and extends over 120 kilometers in length. Learn about the ingenuity, resilience, and daily life of Vietnamese soldiers through preserved tunnel systems and historical exhibits.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City and continue with a guided city tour.

View the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon from outside, followed by a visit to the historic Central Post Office designed by renowned architect Gustave Eiffel.

Continue to the War Remnants Museum, home to thought-provoking exhibits documenting Vietnam’s wartime history.

Conclude the day with free time at Ben Thanh Market, one of the city’s most famous shopping destinations, ideal for souvenirs, handicrafts, and local specialties.

Day 06 | Mekong Delta Excursion – My Tho

Meals Included: Breakfast

After breakfast, journey to the enchanting Mekong Delta region, often referred to as Vietnam’s “rice bowl” and one of the world’s most fertile delta systems.

Travel through scenic countryside landscapes before arriving in My Tho City.

Board a traditional motorboat and cruise through the intricate waterways and canals of the Mekong Delta while observing authentic rural life along the riverbanks.

Visit Thoi Son Island and enjoy traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by local artists.

Continue your exploration aboard a paddleboat through smaller canals shaded by lush coconut palms.

Discover local cottage industries including coconut candy production and traditional rice wine making before visiting a bee farm where you can sample fresh honey tea and tropical fruits.

On the return journey, stop at the magnificent Vinh Trang Pagoda, renowned for its unique blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, Cambodian, and European architectural influences.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the evening.

Day 07 | Departure from Ho Chi Minh City
